We are both attorneys and managers of Ettor&Niess since June 2023. We provide legal services to clients independently, but also as members of several expert and advocacy teams.
I have devoted my entire professional life to advocacy, mainly defending clients accused of white-collar criminal offenses, economic, property and corruption criminal offenses, as well as defending accused legal entities. In practice, this is a continuation of my academic work, in which I focused on the issue of criminal liability of legal entities.
Thanks to these experiences, I wrote and published several professional papers and articles. Since criminal law is closely related to the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms, I also specialize in representing clients before the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic and the European Court of Human Rights.
In my professional practice, I mainly focus on civil, business and administrative law. In the field of civil law, I primarily focus on contract law, law on immovable property, law relating to personality, intellectual and industrial property law, company and cooperatives law, and protection against unfair competition and damages. I have been engaged in litigation since the beginning of my practice, as a result of which I have gained extensive experience in resolving disputes, both in court proceedings and outside the courtroom. As part of administrative law, I mainly specialize in construction and land law. Since each of the mentioned legal areas also has its own constitutional level, quite naturally, within the framework of my long-term legal practice, I gained considerable experience in representing clients before the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic.
